CLINICAL SUPERVISION & CONSULTATION
As psychological practitioners, we all need safe places in which to reflect on our own practice and to continue to learn. I have been very fortunate in having had some truly wonderful supervisors over my 21 years of clinical practice, and it is a huge privilege to be able to offer supervision to others. With 18 years as a qualified clinical psychologist and 15 years as a clinical supervisor under my belt, I draw on a breadth and depth of experience to support the development of psychologists and psychological practitioners at all stages of training and career progression.
I have undertaken specific training in clinical supervision, including model-specific training in both CBT and CFT supervision, and I am on the BPS's Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) which recognises psychologists with particular expertise in supervision. I am an associate supervisor for the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, and am able to provide the clinical supervision required for obtaining and maintaining BABCP accreditation. I am happy to offer supervision to practitioners in NHS, third sector or independent settings.
As a supervisor, I aim to prioritise the creation of a non-judgemental and containing space. I offer a warm, reflective and supportive supervisory relationship with a healthy dose of humour, but I am not afraid of challenging conversations and am very open to new learning and fresh perspectives.
If you are looking for one-off consultation on a case or a small number of sessions to focus on a specific issue, rather than ongoing regular supervision, you are also very welcome to get in touch.
I do have current availability for online supervision. Please don't hesitate to contact me for further details or if you'd like to arrange an informal conversation about the possibility of having supervision with me.
